The License Management allows the user to check, request and validate the MOHID Studio license. There are two different ways to access the License Manager: through the Administration tab (represented on figure Figure 1) or through the Orb button (represented on figure Figure 2). The License Manager window is also presented whenever the License is out of date.
The License Management window, represented on Figure 3, allows the user to check the current license status, request for a new license or to validate the current license of MOHID Studio.
The License status or the Evaluation Period is shown on the top of the window. Inside the box is shown the serial number and licensed plugins of MOHID Studio.
To request a license for MOHID Studio, press the button "License Request" and read the subsection License Request.
To validate your license for MOHID Studio, press the button "License Validation" and read the subsection License Validation .
The license request is divided into 4 or 5 steps depending if is version 2015 or 2016, respectively. In the first step ( Figure 4 )you have to provide your personal information and choose the license type.
For MOHID Studio 2015 and 2016 the following license types are available: (i) MOHID Studio Express and (ii) MOHID Studio Professional.

-Grid size of any grid is limited to 10.000 grid points; |
| MOHID Studio Professional | License without any restrictions. To purchase a license of MOHID Studio Professional for commercial usage. MOHID Studio Professional includes free updates during three years. Afterwards it will work without time limits. |
| MOHID Studio Professional (Academic Usage) | Action Modulers’ provides access to MOHID Studio Professional free of charge for academic usage during a 12 month period. This period can be periodically renewed in the case MOHID Studio is used in context of PhD thesis, Master thesis or teaching purposes.
The license agreement does not allow you to use of MOHID Studio in public or private funded research projects. |
| MOHID Studio Professional (Subscription) | License without any restrictions. To purchase a yearly subscriptions of MOHID Studio Professional. |

After providing you information and selecting the license type, click “Next”.
Next is shown the "Select Additional Plugins" window (Figure 5), only present in MOHID Studio 2016 version, that allows the user to request license to additional plugins (optional plugins that include additional customized components to MOHID Studio).

Select the plugins you want to ask for a license and click “Next”.
The “Review License Request” window ( Figure 6 ), allows the user to review all the information from the registration form and to view all the information that will be sent to Action Modulers.
After reviewing all the information that will be submitted, click “Next” to proceed.
In the next step you have to choose the method that will be used to send to license request. Three methods are available:
• Using Microsoft Outlook – this method will prepare an e-mail with the license request information, ready to be send ( Figure 8 ). You can use this method if you have Microsoft Outlook installed and correctly configured.
• Using webmail service (Gmail or other) – to use this method you have to click “Copy”, which will copy the license request information to the clipboard. Open you email editor (e.g. Gmail) and prepare an email to sales@actionmodulers.com and paste into the body of the message the info copied previously to the clipboard ( Figure 10 ).
• Using Action Server register service – use this method if you want to use our server to send the license request information. You have to confirm your e-mail ( Figure 11 ).
After selecting the method, click next to proceed. The last step informs you that you will receive an e-mail with you license key with 24h ( Figure 12 ).
If you have any trouble with the license request or if you don’t receive the license key within the foreseen time, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
If the user requests a MOHID Studio Express license or a MOHID Studio Professional Evaluation license, it will be emitted within 48h and send back to your e-mail. If you request any other type of license (MOHID Studio Professional – Academic, Subscription or purchase) we will enter in contact with you for further information.
To validate your copy of MOHID Studio, go to the License Management window ( Figure 3 )and press the “License Validation” button. The License Validator window will open. This window allows the user to validate the MOHID Studio License. After receiving the e-mail with your MOHID Studio license, the validation of MOHID Studio License is ready to be complete. The License Validation is a very simple process and can be made by two different ways, as represented in Figure 13:

When you receive the license data file (attachment send with our e-mail), save it to your local disk (e.g. c:\MOHID Studio License.dat).
In the License Validator Window select the option “I received the authorization file by e-mail and have saved it to disk” and click browse button 
and select file “MOHID Studio License.dat”. To complete the license validation, close the window by pressing “Ok”. MOHID Studio must be restarted in order to apply the changes(Figure 14).
The second option is to introduce the license key directly. For this option choose “I received the authorization key by internet, fax or phone and need to validate manually”, on the License Validator window (Figure 15).After introducing the key press the “Validate” button. Instead of introducing the key manually you can also use the button “Check Request”, to connect to our server and obtain the license key automatically (if already processed).
If the license key is valid the text “Genuine Key!” will appear (Figure 16).
To complete the license validation, close the window by pressing “Ok”. MOHID Studio must be restarted in order to apply the changes (Figure 17).
